Tell us a little about yourself:
My name’s Chloe Chapman and I’m a new Physiotherapist on the Gold Coast. I’m originally from Vancouver, Canada and moved to Australia in 2016 to pursue my dream of completing my Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University. I’ve always been your classic Canadian, which means I love the cold winters, snowboarding, hiking, camping and apologizing to people in unnecessary situations. I’ve always been an active person with a huge passion for sports and rehabilitation. I trained my University women’s basketball team who was ranked 3rd in Canada in 2014, and worked as the senior Kinesiologist for two years in private practice.
As a student, I’ve completed my Bachelors in Kinesiology with an extended Psychology minor in 2014 and completed my Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2018 with recognition of being on the Vice Chancellors list. Following that, I completed an internship at Stanford University working closely with their football team and track and field athletes.
I love learning and expanding my physiotherapy “tool box” and recently completed introductory dry needling and acupuncture course. Being so passionate about living an active lifestyle, my goal is to get my patients independent so they have the freedom to achieve whatever they want in life!
Why did you join RAW?
Joining Raw Therapies has allowed me to work in a multidisciplinary environment and grow as a Physiotherapist. I enjoy gaining experience from others and learning new tricks of the trade as there’s multiple ways to look at any situation and everyone’s body is different.
