Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I moved to the Gold Coast two years ago to study a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University. I grew up in a small coastal town on the far south coast of NSW and saw the Gold Coast as somewhere that has the best of both worlds for me. I am able to study something that I love and expand my horizons, without losing that coastal lifestyle that I am used to.
My aim is to continue to further my studies and one day become a Physiotherapist. My interest in Physiotherapy stems from my love of sport and maintaining a physically active lifestyle. I played a lot of competitive Netball growing up and endured several injuries along the way that consequently lead to reconstructive surgery on my right knee. My personal experiences with sport and injuries have contributed greatly to my interest in the body and passion for helping people with their own injuries and challenges.
Why did you join RAW?
I joined RAW in 2015 to make the most of an amazing opportunity to work amongst talented health professionals and gain a better understanding of the industry and how it all works. I saw it as the perfect job for me while working towards a degree in Physiotherapy.
